*kamus! kamus! kamus! :D

He/she must understand all the functions of the position of #2,3,4,5 on offense and defense.

You can’t be a point guard and dribble looking at the ball. You must know where all your teammates are and understand their character of play.

He/she must know every single offensive and defensive play for games. He/she must master drills during practice. He/she must understand the system.

Before every game, he/she knows the location of the shot clock, scoreboard, game clock and feel of the rim.

He/she is the first to enter the gym and the last to leave.

He/she must be able to handle the ball, handle his/her team mates and make solid passes.

He/she distributes the ball and attacks the defense to create opportunities.

During free-throws he/she calls his/her team mates to regroup. Even if it is just to say, “guys you’re doing one hell of a job!” or “let’s focus!”

Playing hard defense must start with him/her. Intensity, loud on “D” and controlling his/her team mates on the floor.

The extension of the coach on the floor. He/she is the floor leader.

He/she conversates (does the conversation) with the coach outside of practice sessions.

He/she plays hard on defense and plays a controlled offense. He/she has a cool head and the heart of a lion.
